Joshua forest wilderness study area.
Not the best tour, but it was a full family tour today, and it was pretty, I will post more pics Tuesday when I get back into town

Cool! I was out that way yesterday driving the 243 and 74 up to Idyllwild and back down to Palm Springs. Wish I'd stopped in Joshua Tree.

This wasn't at the park, this was just north of the Arizona border in Utah just off old 91. Its a wilderness reserve because joshua trees shouldn't be growing this far north, but there is a huge forest of them for like 10 square miles and then....nothing, gone. Its strange.
I never made it out to Joshua tree when I was out there, should have, but didn't.
